Stuffy The Salivary Canal
Description
Salivary tract stones is the kind of salivary gland disorders. During eating, saliva (spit) produced salivary glands in the mouth. The chemicals in saliva can crystallize into a stone that can block channels saliva.
When saliva can not exit from the blocked canal, causing pain and swelling of the gland. Submandibular gland, in the back of the mouth on either side of the jaw, usually the most often clogged.
Symptoms
- * Swelling of the face or neck
- * Pain in the face or mouth
- * Dry mouth
Treatment
The goal is to remove the stone. Health care provider or dentist may be able to push the stone out of the channel. In some cases, the stone may need to cut through the surgery.
