Milk is known to contain many nutrients that are beneficial to the body. This is obtained after a teamof researchers from Spain and Morocco analyzed 20 samples of cow’s milk with goat milk and milk as well.
In this study researchers used a highly sensitive test. Obtained a number of chemicals from cow’s milk, goat’s milk and also can be used to treat various diseases in humansand animals.
The results detail the researchers found levels of niflumic acid in goat milk, whereas in breast milk contains traces of ibuprofen and naproxen, which is a painkiller and an antibiotic triclosan and some hormones.
Meanwhile in cow’s milk contains anti-inflammatory drug niflumic acid, mefenamic acid and ketoprofen are commonly used as a painkiller in humans and animals.
In addition to these three chemicals, the researchers also found levels of the hormone17-beta-estradiol which is a form of sex hormone estrogen. These results have beenreported in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
“This test is most sensitive compared with other types and can be used to check the health of other types of food,” said Dr. Evaristo Ballesteros, chairman of the researchfrom the University of Jaen in Spain, as quoted from Indiavision.
