People who do more activities with his left-handed was more easilyinfluenced by fear than people who use the right hand. This was revealed in the results of recent studies. Psychologists have found that left-handed people who watch horror movies for 8minutes will show the symptoms associated with post traumatic syndrome(post-traumatic syndrome) compared with people who are right-hand dominance. Securities that appear are often occurs in people who have post traumatic syndromedisorder.

Currently, scientists have believed that the results obtained it could be a new insight intohow people develop stress after truma and how the brain handles fear. “The prevalence of traumatic stress disorder after nearly doubled in people with left-handed than right handed people,” said study leader Dr. Carolyn Choudhary fromQueen Margaret University in Edinburgh, as quoted by the Telegraph.

Dr Choudhary said appeared after a person experiences frightening events even just in the movies, the people are left-handers show a behavior like the people who suffer fromstress disorder after experiencing trauma when watching a horror movie.

“This relates to how the brain makes memories for seeing something frightening. On theleft-handed, the right side is more dominant brain involved in fear, so the possibility ofrelationship started from there,” says Dr Choudhary.

Dr Choudhary add both sides of the brain have different roles in generating stress disorder after trauma. For that further study is needed to understand what actuallyhappens in the brain. The results of this study plan will be presented at the British Psychology Society’s annualevent.
