Keep the body is only 75-90 mg of Vitamin C every day

Dr Rianto explains, some studies show that vitamin users are not healthier than those who do not take vitamins. In fact, there is a study that found that patients who take vitamin at higher risk of chronic disease than those who do not take vitamins.
“One example is the consumption of vitamin C. The body requires only 75-90 mg of vitamin C every day. But there are products that contain vitamin C up to 1000 mg. Number is much larger than the body needs,” said Dr. Rianto.

The notion that vitamin C can prevent and treat colds as well to date has no scientific or clinical basis is strong.

Furthermore, Dr. Rianto advised to get vitamn intake of daily food. In addition to more securely and without artificial chemical process, the intake of vitamins and nutrients from food is sufficient to meet the needs of the body.

“Unless there are specific conditions that require additional external, such as pregnancy or after undergoing surgery,” said Dr. Rianto.
