Some places or indoor smoking bans sometimes attached sign is an image of cigarettes dropped from consideration. But studies show that the sign ban would trigger people to want to smoke. Psychological studies have found that the sign ban on smoking would make a person more difficult to fight the feeling to smoke. This sign has an ironic effect on smokers because it can increase want or make him think for a smoke.
“You will get an ironic effect. Just like when I say ‘Do not think about pink elephants’ then someone will think of pink elephants,” said Brian Earp researcher from Oxford University, as quoted by the Daily Mail, Saturday .
