Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) is a small plant with a single hairy stem. If rimpangnya sense of feel, yellow-brown and wrinkled skin. Ingredients:
Goldenseal contains a compound called berberine, a compound that kills many types of bacteria in a test tube, including those that cause diarrhea. Berberine has also been shown to kill various types of germs in a test tube, like that which causes candidiasis (fungus) and parasitic infections such as tapeworms and Giardia. Berberine can also activate white blood cells, making more effective for fighting infection and strengthening the immune system. Berberine is sometimes used as an antibiotic and disinfectant, both externally and internally.

Goldenseal bitter taste stimulates the secretion and flow of bile, and also can be used as an expectorant. In the use of Goldenseal is used for the following conditions:

- flu and chest tightness
