Health Insurance Obese People on Airplanes:Expensive Tickets
Health care for obese people on airplanes. Additional rates are usually charged on passenger planes carrying luggage exceeds the specified capacity. “People with more weight than the average have to pay more for their airline tickets than a slimmer passengers,” said Tony Webber, former Chief Economist of Qantas, as reported by Dailymail, this is to provide better health protection for health insurance comparison.

“Additional fuel costs around 315 pounds (about USD 4.5 million) / aircraft passengers and weight gain can affect airline profits,” said Webber.

“I think the discriminatory when people maintain healthy weight should pay a more expensive ticket (when fares increased uniformly),” Webber said.
Webber proposed a system where people would pay an additional fee for every kilogram of body weight has been determined. With this system, people who are thinner will pay less if the weight is below specified limits.
Previously, some months ago the German parliament also suggested that fat people are required to pay a fat tax. This is because the health insurance fund in Germany who reported experiencing a serious deficit due to increased health problems in obese people.
Obesity is the term given to someone who has a weight 20 percent greater than the median range of normal weight health.
Comparison between normal-weight body fat is around 25-30 percent in women and 18-23 percent in men. If a person’s fat content exceeds the threshold then it can be called obese.
Obesity is the result of excessive accumulation of body fat. In obesity there is an imbalance between calorie intake and burning in the body.
