Friday (17/12/2010), here are some eye exercises that can help improve vision and visibility:
1. Exercise visibility
In this exercise you are working to focus on close objects and distant objects. This could train the muscles in the eye to see objects that usually appear blurred.
Place your finger about 15 cm from the nose, focus on the finger to see clearly for 5 seconds. Then move the eyes on an object with a distance of approximately 600 cm for 5 seconds. Repeat these steps and alternating intervals up to 40 times the distance vision.
2. Palming or relaxation exercises
Palming is an eye exercise that helps to relax the eye. You will gradually reduce muscle tension in the eyes to help improve eyesight.
Sitting comfortably in a chair with his elbows on the surface of the pillow. Close your eyes and cover each eye with the palm of their hand. This will relax the eye by using a warm hand to soothe the eyes and increase circulation.
Rub hands together until warm, then place it in the eyes closed. Try not to completely suppress the eye and keep the neck and shoulders to stay relaxed, hold this position until about 5 minutes.
3. Reading practice
This exercise is designed to isolate each eye as well as using both eyes together to read numbers from a distance fixed.
Sit in a chair and look at the calendar on the wall. Position the seat so you could hardly read the numbers. Close your eyes, then open and read each number.Visualize each number in the head before you read it.
Repeat the exercise using only one eye. Close one eye with the palm of the hand and see the difference in each eye. If one eye to see the number is less clear, give a longer training for that eye. Practise this exercise at least 15 minutes every day.
