More than 10 percent of infertility problems in women are due to weight loss and disorders of the thyroid. Ovulation and thyroid problems affect one’s ability to maintain pregnancy. Women with thyroid antibodies had an increased number of natural killer cells that attack the developing embryo, the implant interfere with and even cause miscarriage in some cases.
