Janet Hardt (63 years) from Homewood, Illinois USA, breathed her last because of abacterial infection after injecting fat into her own calf. To make the homemade cosmetic surgery, Hardt boiling beef, extract the fat and injected around the mouth and chin. Instead of removing wrinkles, Hardt even feel his face as if on fire and eventually taken to hospital.

Hardt reported to have an infection and there is a scar on the mouth and lips. But the autopsy report stated his death due to peritonitis, inflammation of the stomach wall.

“There are many people out there doing shots on myself to eliminate wrinkles, but I donot know of any medical associations that recommend this. Not worth the chance to experiment with your face to save money, when it costs more precisely,” said Dr. PhillipHaeck, president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, as reported by ABCNews.

Hardt reported injecting her face with beef fat a few times and he also underwentseveral plastic surgery procedures are legitimate. Because some times inject himselfwith animal products, Dr. Haeck says Hardt is at risk of developing allergic reactions.

“One of the injections can cause the skin to scrape (ulceration). We know that the injection of animal protein does not cause the failure of the entire system, but tend tocause local reactions. Many people who have allergic reactions to animal proteinswould say that they face on fire as this woman. that probably is happening here,”explains Dr. Haeck.
