Bunions, lumps on the joints at the base of the thumb foot

Description
Bunion is an abnormal lump that forms on the bone at the base of the big toe joint. Bunions are formed when the big toe or push against your toes and force your other joints in the big toe toward the opposite direction away from the normal profile of your foot.

Furthermore, the joints in your big toe pengkal will grow like a lump and cause pain.

Cause
Bunions can occur due to several reasons, but the cause is generally due to the use of shoes that are too snugly in the foot. Bunions can also be grown as a result of inherited structural defect, the stress on your feet and medical conditions such as arthritis.

Developing bunions that occur when the pressure on the bearing joints and tendons in the legs is uneven. Imbalance in the pressure can make your big toe joint is unstable and grow jutted out from the normal shape of your feet.

Symptom
The signs and symptoms of bunions include:

1. Bump appears prominently on the outside of the base of the big toe
2. Swelling, redness or pain around the big toe joint
3. Thickening of the skin at the base of the big toe
4. Calluses between the toes first and second overlapping
5. Persistent pain
6. Limited movement of the big toe

Treatment
Treatment options vary, depending on the severity of your bunions are suffering and the pain you feel. Treatment of mild bunions can be done with non-surgical conservative treatment that includes:

1. Using shoes that are comfortable and provide plenty of room for your toes.
2. Padding and tapping the doctor will do to restore your toes in a normal position. It can reduce stress on the bunion and alleviate pain.
3. Medications such as acetaminophen (Tylenol, others), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others) or naproxen (Aleve) can help control pain bunion
4. Cortisone injections may also help relieve pain caused by bunions.

If conservative treatment does not relieve bunions that you suffered, you may need surgery. Surgery is not recommended unless you are sick or cause bunions often interfere with your daily activities.

Known as bunionectomy bunions surgery is not without risk. In addition, you may still be able to feel pain or you can develop a new bunion in your big toe joint after surgery. Consider trying conservative treatment before choosing the bunionectomy.

Guangzhou, a soccer ball-sized tumor located on the faces of homeless men in China finally managed to be appointed by the doctor. Now these men had experienced a fairly drastic change in appearance.

A Chinese man named Chen Jianguo (37 years) was first to have a small tumor in the head in 1995. But because it is not treated, the tumor is getting bigger and more to resemble a soccer ball.

This large tumor was already affecting the eye and the ability to eat. Prior to tumor surgery has made the defect on the right side of his eyes, nose and almost cover the entire mouth. (more…)
