3 Brothers Fear Could’t be Married due to Wolf Syndrome

Sangli, India, wolf syndrome is known to make one’s body covered with hair and are difficult to treat. These conditions make the three siblings live in fear of loneliness because no one wants to marry him.


Savita (23 years), Monisha (18 years) and Savitri (16 years) is the third girlsfrom India who has a fear of living alone for the rest of his life due to have a wolf syndrome which makes the growth of hair on his body out of control.

All three are known to suffer from Hypertrichosis Universalis type of wolf syndrome. This condition affects about 1 in 1 billion people who trigger the growth of excess hair, including eyebrows and bushy beard even.

“Marriage is not an option for us. Who wants to marry us when hair continues to grow in the face?” Savita said, as quoted by The Sun.

Family of three brothers living in a small village in Sangli, India. Brothers parents came from poor families that can not undergo laser surgery to rid her body of excess hair.

“When I go to school, many boys and girls who scream ‘hairy face’, ‘He looks terrible’ or ‘Do not sit next to him’,” says Savita.
The mother of three sisters, Anita Sambhaji (40 years) had six daughters, but only 3 known brothers who have this syndrome. This condition is inherited by his father and at that time Anita was forced arranged marriage by her uncle and aunt at the age of 12 years.

“Just on my wedding day knowing what happened to my husband. He hairy on the face, ears and body, I even got scared to death when he saw it,” says Anita.
Anita said when she gave birth to Savita, many people are screaming children like animals and he married a witch. But it was not only one daughter are affected by this syndrome, but he has three daughters with the same condition.

“If there is to apply them, then I would agree. But if not, then they still have to work and survive as long as I am alive,” says Anita.
Hypertrichosis can make someone have excess hair on the entire body or specific body parts. In addition there are experienced due to hereditary factors but there is also emerging a few years later.

Until now little information is known by experts about the cause of this disease. One theory explaining the cause is due to a specific gene in the body that deals with the past chain of human evolution, so that a person has abnormal hair growth.
