2 Women Living in Cave Because Allergy Electromagnetic Waves
Vercors, France, In today’s modern life, it was hard to be away from phones, wi-fi or electricity. But the two women in France are forced to live in the cave because he is very sensitive or allergic to electromagnetic waves emitted by electronic devices.
Anne Cautain (52 years) and Bernadette Touloumond (66 years) had to be willing to live in caves and away from modern civilization as well as electronic devices because they are both hypersensitive to electromagnetic waves or Electro-hypersensitivity (EHS).
Both women must retreat in the hills, on the edge of the plateau ranges Vercors, France. Before getting to the cave where they live, on the hillside has no sign that read ‘Mobile Phone Prohibited (banned for mobile phones)’ to alert visitors to turn off mobile devices.
“I can not close to any object that emits electromagnetic waves, such as wi-fi, cell phones or high voltage cables. It causes my body like an unbearable burning,” said Anne Cautain, as reported by Worldcrunch .
To get to a shelter outside the small town Beaumugne, one must climb the stairs while holding on to the rope. The place is even more risky in winter wet and cold. However, that’s where the two women feel are best placed.
“Now there are so many antennas are built, which is difficult for us even when it should be outside near here,” explains Cautain.
The interior of the cave where they live is very dark and damp. They put a board on the floor that allow it to move and keep your feet stay dry. On the cave ceiling that will be a living room, covered with plastic sheets to retain moisture. There are only basic furniture, such as 2 beds, a table for tea and candles, with no electricity.
Cautain allergic to wave began in January 2009, after the installation of wi-fi at the university where he worked.
“The reaction begins with a burning feeling. I can no longer be at work or apertemen me,” explains Cautain, a former employee at the University of Nice.
Since then, he’s like a game that should run away from the modern world, searching for ‘white zone’ with no GSM antenna, wi-fi or high voltage cables.
“I have to sleep in the car and wrapped in blankets to stay alive. I found a parking space in pingggiran of Nice, where I feel better. But at night, I began to fear,” explains Cautain.
Electro-hypersensitivity (EHS) is a syndrome that causes hypersensitivity reactions to the objects that generate electromagnetic waves.
Symptoms that arise when people with EHS exposed to electromagnetic radiation such as burning or tingling sensation in the skin, dizziness, nausea, headaches, sleep disturbances and memory loss. And in severe levels can even cause problems in breathing, heart rate, losing self-awareness. Not clearly known cause of EHS.
“I have taken time off from my job for over a year because of this disease. The doctor came to visit me in the cave and put me in an invalid category 2. Since then, I receive a monthly pension of 700 euros (about USD 8 million). This is quite well because we have very few needs, “he concluded.
